Kim Il-Sung: The Founding Father
Kim Il-Sung was the communist leader of North Korea from 1948 until his death in 1994. He is considered the founding father of the country and is still revered as a god-like figure by the North Korean people.
Kim Jong-Il: The Dear Leader
Kim Jong-Il succeeded his father as leader of North Korea in 1994. He continued his father's policies of economic isolation and military aggression, and oversaw the development of North Korea's nuclear weapons program.
Kim Jong-Un: The Current Leader
Kim Jong-Un became the supreme leader of North Korea in 2011 after the death of his father. He is the third generation of the Kim dynasty to rule the country. Kim Jong-Un has continued the policies of his father and grandfather, but he has also introduced some reforms, such as opening up the country to foreign investment.
