ALEX Galchenyuk, a former first round pick of the Montreal Canadiens, has signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Coyotes worth $775,000. The deal has a cap hit of $775,000.

This will be Galchenyuk's third stint with the Coyotes. He played for the team during the 2018-19 and 2020-21 seasons.

Galchenyuk is an offensive forward with a strong shot. He has 146 goals and 243 assists in 604 career NHL games.

The Coyotes are hoping that Galchenyuk can help them improve upon their 25th-place finish in the NHL last season.
